I’m getting few or no results for my Article search ?

Firstly ensure you have imported the GetStarted of feeds. (point 5 – in the members area.)

Secondly broaden the search – Feeds are aged which means that they only go back a few days – so that you are getting recent information. Sometimes a blog simply won’t have anything that matches that keyword. The search will do an ‘AND’ type search or a ‘ “Exact match” ‘

eg. Apples pears = All sites that have mentioned apples AND pears

or

“Apples pears” = All sites that have the exact phrase “apples pears”

The next thing you can do is increase the number of feeds. The video in the software training section is called “How to use Google reader to get feeds”

The search is running slowly

The search system works by accessing every feed in your list and then searching the feeds by keyword. In doing so some sites will be slow in returning their feeds – and its this that slows down the search.
